Why Inconel X-750 / 2.4669 for Indian power, nuclear and oil & gas projects

X-750 is a -precipitation-hardened nickel-chromium superalloy with high strength, creep resistance and fatigue stability to 704 C (useful to 816 C) and excellent cryogenic toughness. Chemistry (ASTM B637, wt%): Ni 70 bal, Cr 1417, Fe 59, Ti 2.252.75, Nb 0.701.20, Al 0.401.00, C 0.08. Properties (aged): Rm 1172 MPa, yield 793 MPa, elongation 18%, hardness 302401 HB. Heat treatment: solution 982 C + double aging (Type 1/Type 2).

Standards & quality

Manufactured to ASTM B637, AMS 5667, AMS 5668, EN 2.4669, with API 6A and nuclear (RCC-M/ASME) requirements on request; VIM + ESR melting; full NDT (UT/MT/PT/RT); EN 10204-3.1 / 3.2 MTRs. Inconel X-750, UNS N07750 and W.Nr. 2.4669 are the same grade.
