Why 348 / S34800 for Indian nuclear and high-temperature projects

348 is a niobium/tantalum-stabilized austenitic stainless like 347 but with restricted tantalum and cobalt for favourable neutron activation, making it the nuclear-grade stabilized choice, with excellent intergranular-corrosion resistance and creep strength.
