Custom 465 is a titanium precipitation-hardening martensitic stainless it ages to very high strength (~17001800 MPa, >50 HRC) with good fracture toughness and 304-level corrosion resistance, beyond conventional PH grades (17-4PH, 15-5PH). Chemistry (UNS S46500 / 1.4614, wt%): C 0.020, Cr 11.012.5, Ni 10.7511.25, Ti 1.501.80, Mo 0.751.25, Fe balance. Solution anneal (soft) then age ~480540 C ~17001800 MPa. Same grade as 1.4614 / X2CrNiTi12-11-2 / S46500.
