Why Hastelloy C-22 / UNS N06022 for Indian chemical and FGD projects

C-22 is a versatile Ni-Cr-Mo-W alloy that resists both oxidizing and reducing media outperforming C-276 in oxidizing and 625 in reducing conditions with superior pitting, crevice and SCC resistance. Material data

Chemistry (ASTM B574, wt%): Ni balance, Cr 20.022.5, Mo 12.514.5, W 2.53.5, Fe 2.06.0, Co 2.5, C 0.010. Solution anneal ~1,120 C + rapid water quench; not hardenable. Outperforms C-276 (oxidizing) and 625 (reducing). Same alloy across Hastelloy C-22 / N06022 / 2.4602.
