Why AISI 314 / S31400 for Indian high-temperature projects

314 is a high-silicon 25Cr-20Ni heat-resistant austenitic stainless the elevated silicon builds a protective scale for oxidation resistance to ~1150 C, above 310/310S, on a strong, stable austenitic base. For India's heat-treatment, cement/kiln, glass, ceramic and furnace sectors, it suits furnace/kiln components, fixtures, burner and radiant-tube parts.
