Why NiCoCrMoAlTi / 2.4634 / Alloy 105 for Indian turbine projects

Alloy 105 is a -precipitation-hardening Ni-Co-Cr superalloy with molybdenum solid-solution strengthening, giving high strength and good creep resistance to 950 C a step up in strengthening over Nimonic 90 through its higher aluminium content. Chemistry (nominal, wt%): Ni 54.0, Co 20.0, Cr 15.0, Mo 5.0, Al 4.7, Ti 1.3, C 0.13. Solution treat 1,150 C + age 1,0501,065 C + age 850 C (3-stage); to 950 C. Same alloy across NiCoCrMoAlTi / 2.4634 / Alloy 105.
