1.4507 is a copper-bearing super duplex stainless (25Cr-6.5Ni-3.5Mo-Cu-N) with roughly double austenitic strength, a PREN 40 for seawater/chloride pitting and crevice resistance, high resistance to chloride SCC, and copper-enhanced resistance in sulphuric/phosphoric acid.
